What's the deal with "titanium clear" lenses?
Do they rock in the free world, or are they better suited to safety wear, and display case duty?
Your comments appreciated.

I've used them at night. I can't say they were more practical than not wearing anything, and there isn't much UV to be concerned about that time of day. I'd say indoor sports and night riding on a bike would be good, which would fall into the impact protection category.

Also they tend to be on more Asian Fit frames, due to cultural reasons, since it's considered impolite to hide ones eyes in some areas.

Thanks Dann.
I hadn't realized there were places in the world where things are still impolite!

I've actually had a number of professional performers (mostly musicians) that used these lenses on stage. They do like the lighter lens colors with a mirror coating. A few of my regular customers were very sad when they stopped using them on many frames.

I love Ti clear in a big frame on windy winter nights / cloudy days.

Great for nighttime driving, and around the house.
