Hi guys. I recently purchased an Oakley Ducati Crosshair 2012 edition. I used to have the original Crosshair but not the Ducati type. So when this Crosshair model was out, i was really eyeing on getting one. (not a fan of crosshair 2.0 btw) With this new purchase, I saw a "made in china" from the hammerstems and this came from an official distributor. Is it true that some oakley wire frames are made in china? I also noticed that some models don't put the "made in usa" sign anymore.

Can we be enlightened on this? Thanks in advance!

All wires except for the very early ones, are made in china. However I believe since they were assembled here, they got away without the label saying such. Now they are starting to print that text since more of the O Matter frames are made there too. The made in USA text has also been officially removed so there is no way to know if its USA vs china even if it is.

Thanks for the graphic Defender. I did hear the 70-80% number thrown around for O Matter, but that wouldn't count the Acetate and Wires.
