The Game -
Frame: Black w/ Silver History Text
Lens: Chrome Iridium Polarized

The fit of this frame falls between the fuel cell and the gascan. It's as wide as the fuel cell while the front is as tall as the gascan. I've been a fan of the gascan for a while now but I like the coverage of the fuel cell. It was too much coverage for me because they ended up sitting on my cheeks. The crankshaft fixes this problem for me. I went the this color combo because I've never had a text frame or a chrome polarized lens. Along with the chrome icons it makes the lenses really stand out. I look foward to more color combinations and special editions.

These frames look like a filled-in version of the weird Crankcase, and I wasn't a fan of that model's open-air temple style, so this was a rather welcome change. That said, the style is still in the motorcycle-goggle range. The fit is snug around smaller heads which is a plus if you are going to use these in active settings. It is July 2014 as I write this and the only downside to this model being out for just three months is that Oakley Vaults don't stock replacement lenses yet...
