I had a cage before I switched to the O visor. I love it. I have a large and it covers alot more of the face than other companies do. The whole idea is to have protection with good visibility. Seriously its a big visor, but I'm very pleased that it protects almost my whole face except for my lower chin and lips. I only use it for practice while still using a full cage for games. No amount of visibility is worth losing your teeth! I highly recommend the O line of visors to everyone.
If you look down the NHL benches now you pretty much only see the O. I decided to try one for myself. I've have been using itech visors my whole life. This is the first oakley hockey visor for me and it's clearly the best. Oakley has them beat when it comes to optics. You pretty much forget that you are even wearing a visor, no distortion. When you look at glass surronding the rink there is usually a lot of glare from the rink lights. With this visor it is non existent. This is probably one reason it is so popular now in the NHL with the huge glare from the rinks. I cant see itech staying in business for much longer unless they do something drastic. I have the medium size and this is the one to buy. The large one is to big and looks really awkard. The style of these masks is called aviator with a space in the middle which prevents fogging.
