These are very cool. Remind me of the older Five's. I don't know if it's just been my recent acceptance/movement to the larger frames, but these look small. They also don't fit my Asian face that well. I think that it's just due to the fact that they're small and curve just a tad bit too soon, making the far left and far right edges near the arms touch my eye lashes. This is unfortunate, and hope Oakley will get another Asian set out! Other than that, these have a very sleek and clean design and feel. Just wish they fit better.

That's a very nice combination, not too loud, but interesting enough to be not boring. The Five 4.0 is still looking and fitting good. All Five generations were a nice and evolutionary design and a good effort by Oakley. Unlike the ugly and not true to the original Eye Jacket 2.0 and 3.0.

Although I prefer the Five Squared now, the Five 4.0 has more interesting color combinations.

look bigger in pics then they are in person but still fit nice and tight (for not having unobtanium sleeves) the text adds alot to the style very sharp

This is the true successor of the Fives line. Now that the 3.0 has unceremoniously morphed into the the Fives Squared it is easy to see that that the square orbitals and stylized side put that frame in better company with the Gascan and the Canteen.

Now we have a new frame that steps in to jettison us into the second decade of the 21st century. Its lines are modern yet clean enough to remain classic. When set next to the original or the 2.0 it is easy to how it drew influence from these classics yet took them to new levels of artistry. When placed on the head it retains the fit and feel of the original; slightly larger than the 3.0. It serves its purpose in Oakley's lineup to fit those with smaller facial geometry, but still manages to fit my medium-large cranium comfortably. This incredibly lightweight frame allowed this unabashed Monster Dog and Hijinx wearer to reclaim his first love. The MD and Hijinx will surely not stay in the drawer for long, but when the days activities call for a piece of mad science not quite so bold the Fives 4.0 will make many appearances.

The silver text is subtle yet adds just enough to break from the monotony of an all black frame. Of course the lens clarity and glare blocking ability of Oakley HD polarization are unparalleled. The wrap and rake of the lens provides excellent coverage with a minimal amount of light peeking in from the bottom.

Dare I be the first to say it, Oakley has done it again.

These have become my new beater pair. Oakley have really gone back to their wraparound days with these. Up close they seem a little cheap but from a distance they look a million bucks. Good fit for medium faces and they have excellent coverage. I hope to god they bring out some neat colourways. Black and grey frames are ok for some models but others NEED vibrancy. Bring em on!!!!
