Hydrophobic Lens Treatment Kit
I like it! It is easy to apply and by following the directions you will not go wrong. I have thought about stretching the use of the pads and doing 2 pairs but think it is best to only do one pair per pad like instructions state. The pair I did it to seems to be working fine. No negative effect on the lenses at all.
One piece of advice.....do it in well ventilated area. It smells very strong for a while due to chemicals in application.
My only complaint is that you can only treat 3 pairs of glasses per kit.
Really dig this. I just got my second kit. The solution works wonders on my lenses. The cloth seems to be different than the microfiber bags that Oakley issues with each pair of sunglasses. The cloth works MUCH better than the bag. I think it's almost essential to get one of these kits. They have a cool carrying pouch which is small enough to carry in the pocket
I was very surprised by how well this kit worked. I could see no performance difference in the lenses I treated compared to the lenses with the factory coating. Of course the lenses were brand new and newly treated but the kit seems to work as advertised.
I did a pair of scripts and then used the same pad to do my Romeo IIs. I could tell a slight difference in the coating on the Romeos but it was very slight. I do agree though that to get the full effect you need to use one pad per pair.
I used the kit on my work M Frames and I can't believe the difference. I'm not getting nearly the dust on the lenses as I used to.
