Frame: pewter/blue
Lens: clear
Look good but heavy frames -- not overly comfortable.
The nose pads wore down within the first few months so I had to replace them. We'll see how they hold up.

Frame: Socket 2.0 black chrome
Lens:
these things get bent up so very easily. i am on my second set and then they got a huge chip in them.
so... i am going to go buy another set to fit my lenses.
i am very disappointed in the quality of these particular frames. quality control seems to be lack luster as these frames chip far easier than other Oakley frames i have had in the past.
i have the black chrome finish.
Frame: Toast/Matte Black

Just picked up my pair of socket 2.0's today. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them. If I have a complaint its that the "thick to thin" styling is borderline too thick and that the straight behind the ears style is awkward when you wear hats (same with my A-Wires). That said, they look/feel like they could survive a war zone... very well made and very modern but stylish! Also very comfortable.
Also, Oakley really went all out on the included accessories. You get the standard Oakley cleaning bag AND you get the metal vault which retails for $25.00 by itself.
Good job Oakley! With my intense love of both your sunglasses and Rx glasses, you will probably have a customer for life.

This is my 4th Oakley RX glasses, and I'm particularly pleased with the design. My previous pair was the Wiretap in Silver/Clear. and I was looking for a pair with a sophisticated, corporate cutting-edge look. The Socket 2.0 definitely fits this description.
First pair of Oakley RX and I am quite impressed. The brushed brown colour, thick to thin temple detail, and subtle "O" logo on the sides, combine to make a great looking frame. That says a lot considering I've worn rimless the last few years and every full frame I've tried on just looked out of place until I tried these. Says even more when I work in a dispensary that has 1200 frames out front I could have had for free but STILL ordered these.
The only downside? They are heavy! I opted for normal CR39 lenses from my dispensary since I'm just correcting a slight-moderate astigmatism, but the front digs into my nose unless I tighten the temples to dig into my head. And if they don't dig into your head the relatively sharp bottom side of the temples pad digs into your ear. Three of the other opticians have had a go at it and it's livable now, but I'll probably cut a set of lenses out of poly just to save weight where I can.
So the verdict is a great frame, highly recommended, just plan on going back a few times for tweaking the adjustments when you find out an hour later your ear is coming off.
