Just nabbed these off of the bay for a great price... I wasnt in the market (LOL) for new frames but i couldn't pass it up. This is my second pair of Zeros and i forgot how much i loved them. I will be buying the rest of the set as they become available.

But clarity of the Gold is top notch... as with any Oakley Lens youre going to get great eye protection and fantastic clarity that is unrivaled by anyone.

Frame: Black
Lens: Black Iridium

I apparently like the Zero family. I never really thought about it, but have owned more Zeros than any other Oakley line. This was my first pair of Zeros and I loved the look and feel of them. I was justly disappointed though when they broke right down the middle of the lens.

I do have a wide head, but I believe it was wearing them on my hat when I didn't have them on that did this. I was a sad day. Very upsetting considering the cost of the glasses and I was just a high school kid. But, I didn't let they ruin my Oakly obsession I now have a pair of the Oakly New Zero's.

Frame: Cobalt
Lens: +Red
I have always loved the Zero line because they're so light & flexible. The New Zero 0.4 is, essentially, the same as the one it replaces except fot the frame design. Granted, it does have a more modern look but fit is no better in my opinion. In fact, fit is rarely an issue with any of the Zero line. The 0.4 lens is short in comparison to the older Zeros & Sub-Zeros but offers decent coverage & a pretty close fit. Zero hinges notoriusly become loose after awhile & these are no different but because of Oakley's excellent design they always fit as snug as day one no matter how loose & floppy the hinges get.

Frame: Cobalt
Lens: +Red Iridium

One of the few Iconic models in their rich history, these Zeros define Oakley's original purpose of designing lightweight, highly functional sunglasses suited for athletic use. The only "frame" are the durable earstems attached to the corners of the shield lens, and that gives them that feathery weight. They certainly are suited for golf or jogging but like so many Oakleys of this era, they just look really, freakin' cool.

Frame: Glitter Gulch
Lens: Gold Iridium

My First pair of Zeros and one of the first Oakleys to offer Gold Iridium.
All the Zero range have the trademark "zero weight" philosophy, and you can easily forget you are wearing them,or if you had them sitting perched on top of your head!
The Glitter Gulch design was pretty radical and cool when it was released, but still very wearable,with the Gold Iridium lens making everything brighter/sharper it was a winning combination.
