This Newer Surf Pack 4.0 is what I call "Chromed Up!" This thing has so many places for storage of just about everything. Its main compartment could fit just about 2 changes of clothes and possibly a beach towel. It is easy to access the main compartment and the lap top compartment. I actually put my Oakley Smoke sandals in the laptop compartment. You can definitely take this on carry on for an airline flight for a long weekend. I would recommend to anyone who travels a lot on short trips

I used this for college. It fit most of my needs. I like that it has laptop compartment in it, and that was the only reason I didn't use my old Icon bag. I bought it in a fit of nostalgia (I went to school in Utah, and I'm from So Cal), and I missed surfing. My only complaint is that the drawstring opening isn't very large. My xbox barely slides through. I'm sure that if I used if for actually surfing, it would be wonderful.

This thing is huge!!
More room than I actually need for my daily use. It is perfect for the beach as it comes with hte change mat. It has a waterproof bottom as well. It has loads of pockets for all you small gadgets. If you need something with loads of room but is VERY comfortable to wear on your back with excellent weight distribution....this is your pack! I wore it in the rain and when I came indoors every pocket and all contents were dry!!!

Awesome bag. The design looks really nice but not to different from the previous surf pack. There is a lot of room for stuff and this will definitely pack a lot of things. You could probably get away with a 4 day trip on this bag. Very durable bag. My OPD punched a hole through the bag with a pen and the hole closed up and rubbed away with no tears. I wouldn't recommend doing that though.
