Never mind that for the same price as one Thump, you could probably get an iPod Shuffle with twice the capacity AND Juliet. Thumps aren't about logical purchases, nor should you need to justify their purchase with logic. It's an emotional decision to buy one, since you're getting state of the art eyewear technology. Who cares if they're suseptible to water damage. All you care about is that you have 512mbs worth of storage and that the Tribal frame just looks SO FREAKIN' COOL. If I had the means, I'd buy these in a second.

I'm glad I bought these purely for my collection, as they do not fit my head at all. The glasses portion does, but the speakers sit about half an inch in front of each ear. I do have big head, though. Otherwise, sound quality is on par with other O electronics, and the fit is true Oakley. These glasses set the standard, and they are a must have.

Lenses: Great Oakley quality as usual, I personally do not like the flip up lens look, but from first looking at these, you don't see it unless it's pointed out. There's really nothing you can do about it though.

Frame: The fit is amazing, these are very snug, but do not feel too tight. When running or working out, these are sure to stay on your head and not bounce around at all. This was very surprising considering these are solid O MATTER.

Music Storage: The storage capacity for these is very good. Considering it does not have a "screen" to view the songs, 512mb its plenty of space for someone at the gym or a runner. It can hold up to 120 songs that it claims to, and even more depending on the song's size.

Music Quality: I was extremely surprised at the sound quality that these had. I have used many pairs of high end headphones (bose, v-moda, etc) and the THUMPs were on the same level if not better. [They have no problem handling songs with a heavy bass either]

Overall: Despite the flip up lenses, these are amazing sunglasses. I do not think I would pay the retail price for these [especially considering you can get them for around $100 on ebay], but as an oakley fanatic, these are some sick shades. I would give it a full five skull rating, but those flip up lenses were not the best idea on Oakley's part.

I knew I had to buy one the second I saw it on the website. Buying this is one of the smartest things I've ever done:) I know the memory is not very much but it's enough for me. Of course it takes some time to select between the songs but it's worth it. And Thump is unexpectedly comfortable. It's so cool. I definetely say buy one!

Not much different then that Thump 1. The only reason why I picked these up were because the Tribal design is off the hook. Could always use another flip up sunglass too. Makes me feel like a baseball outfielder.
