This has really good support around the ankle, the instep is really comfortable and even though they fit really snugly around the top of the foot they never feel constrictive. The padding on the sole is more than sufficient and the anatomical footbed supports the arch of the foot unlike any other sandal I've ever worn, a detail which is often overlooked is the detailing lending a build quality thats often overlooked, like a real metal icon giving the sandal a touch of the exotic and the reflective text on the strap at the back on the sandal itself. A well built sandal that you know will be with you on any long haul trek down the beach.

Gotta love the changes the Smoke Rings have gone through... now lighter in weight, and thinner upper material which makes it easier to slip in and out of. The lip on the perimeter of the sandal still can be irritating if you're not wearing the size that perfectly fits.
