I was 15 when these were available back in 1989 and I had spent all my cash on a pair of Razor Blades just months before the Slit lens Glasses came out. I used to sweat the Slit lens Glasses while shopping in the mall, with the alluring look of the fire irridium piercing through the clear plastic box.So by the time I could finally afford them, they were gone, and the Mumbo´s came out.So now that I´m 32 and have collected all the slit lens colors off E-bay,I get that ear to ear smile like a 15 yr old kid who just got something he really wanted, when I look at my neon orange Oakley Blades with fire irridium Slit lens, stuffed in the Slit lens box.So for me it´s all about the memeories. The box itself;however, it made of cheap breakable material. But it dose present and preserve the glasses within well.
