This is a great lens for various uses. Even though it isn't very dark, it does a great job reducing bright light to make it bearable to, for example, read a book outside on a very sunny day. I have also used this lens to play beachvolleyball in the glaring sun with great results. It is, however, equally good for medium or even darker light so that you don't have to take it off as soon as you enter a room or walk in the shade.

I wouldn't say the lens makes everything look pinkish; the world just looks a little more friendly.

Another great lens from Oakley. I have it on my Unknown and I use it for driving in overcast conditions. Contrast enhancing is excellent and details appear clearer. I have the G30 Titanium (same base different coating) and I love it too. True to what Cray0la's said. these lenses make a grey day less gloomy and bright days slightly more glorious ;)

this is a very very nice lens, i had the G30 but had never seen the G30 black, its so much better because you get the beautifull contrast of the G30 and the protection of the black iridium coating, therefore making it more useable in brighter light.

this is my favorite lens. i don't know what the other guy is talking about. the black iridium coating makes it much nicer to look AT than the fruity pinkish blue G30 iridium found in a standard g30 lense. it's definately a rose colored lens to look through and there's nothing quite like viewing the world through rose colored glasses. ;) It makes a grey day less glum and a bright day glorious.

I'm really not a fan of this lens. It's got a different pinkish look, but I think it distorts the my vision more than any other lens. It actually gives me a headache if I wear it too long then take them off. I try to ration out how long I have these guys on.
