I am an avid clay shooter as well as colorblind and I find that after testing almost every color of lens on the market the g26 is the only ones I wear anymore. They make the targets appear to glow and I can notice a huge difference if I forget to take them to the range. I have them in both the M-frame and the radar and find myself wearing them all the time even while driving with no adverse side effects...

does this lense still protect your eyes from the sun though?

and how affective is it on the water?

Interesting lenses, the actual lens tint is a purple that seems to take a shift to amber towards the sides, which I haven't seen before. Iridium coating is a vivid jade that fades towards blue at the corners. For trap/skeet/sporting clays, this is the lens. It flats out greens and makes bright orange/red clay targets stand out. It's a totally weird effect, basically anything that isn't orange/red gets completely flatted out. Great for what it's designed to do.

This lence is for Sporting Clay,Trap or Skeet shoting. It soft the green but it enahnce the orange so is more easy to see your target. This is not an everyday use lence.

This is a weird lens. I get the distinct impression that you lose some depth perception while wearing it. Even though it's billed as a shooting lens, I think I'd find it difficult to shoot anything on an unknown distance range while wearing this. Other than that, it does look pretty awesome.
