Oakley Blade promotional poster featuring US National Hall of Fame skier Glen Plake. Released in 1985, the original Blade series of sunglasses from Oakley would be produced until 1996. Plake has made several other appearances in promotional material for Oakley, all while sporting his iconic mohawk. One of these (slide 5) has him sporting a pair of M Frame sunglasses with "Heater" lenses and an Oakley "???? and Development" jacket in matching blue and neon pink. The last slide features Plake at "The Summit", in Snoqualmie, Washington. Here he is wearing a pair of Sub Zero sunglasses with Black Iridium lenses. I plan on getting this poster framed at some point so it can be properly displayed. In my opinion its an awesome piece of unique promotional material from Oakley's early days.
