Ebay pickup and my first Infrared model. No box, but did have the correct 2-lens array vault, VR28 BI were pretty trash, VR50 are mint (of course!). I picked up some infrared jaws for that monocolor look, and used BI lenses for show (for now). Infrared is weird; bright enough to be stand out obnoxious but still pretty wearable (unlike Crimson), but also too bright to pass of as "red" when I try and match up colors to clothes and shoes. It clashes too hard for regular red. Now I need to find infrared clothing. It's a good color but it also reminds me of the damn shame of Oakley not fully committing to the Split Jacket during its run. Infrared was the only frame color other than Black, White, and Rootbeer. There was never a Blue, yellow, green, etc. Sure there were different colored jaws and bolts and whatever, but those are just highlights. Jawbone & NRJV got hooked up. By comparison the Split Jacket was always the redheaded stepchild. Oh well.
