I had been interested in getting ahold of at least one OO Grey lens, if for no other reason than just to say I had one. The opportunity presented itself by way of the Radarlock which, somewhat curiously, was released as a Script lens, complete with the cursive "Polarized" etching. This caused me to look a little closer into the OO Grey's release history and I must say that I am a bit saddened by Oakley's apparent attitude. They saw it no more fit than to release as a novelty, save for the Radarlock, albeit only as an Edge. They seem to do this quite often on one hand, assigning certain lenses with a wide range of use like the OO Grey to very specific frames for very specific uses. On the other, they release lenses like the Prizm Field more broadly on casual wear that have nothing to do with baseball. Pick a lane, Oakley! Damn! At least the Edge shape ended up looking pretty cool in the frame.
