When this model first came out I told myself it was an unnecessary acquisition. Of course these are the famous last words because I just couldn't get over the frame combo. While I always understood the pairing of frame and jaws to be a deliberate aesthetic, I never deliberately sought it out. Imagine my surprise when the combination of polished black with matte black caught my eye so much that I was compelled to get one. Herein lies the often overlooked lure of Oakley; sometimes the flare lays in the simple subtlety. A combination of anodized red, Prizm Road and matte on polished black have all been done before on their own. Together, they are alluring enough to justify adding yet another model to the collection. Anyway ... killer, right? LOL!
