O Matter


Blade System:
Blade, RazorBlade and Slit


M Frame:
  • Gen 1: Had Hammer stems with the Classic logo, no stretch logo on the lenses. Called 'Mumbo'.
  • Gen 2: Had Hammer Fang stem with Icon and the stretch logo on the lens bridge. Hinge was contoured for strength.
  • Modern: Design was overhauled and modeled after the 1997 Pro M Frame only with hinges.


  • Razor Blade/Blade:
  • Original: Was an 80's style and had swapable curved and trigger ear stems.
  • Re-release: Razor Blade - Modernized and re-released. Frame is compatible with modern M Frame lenses.
  • Re-release: Blade - A true re-cast of the original, without any technology updates. Produced for the 2010 STPL collection.

  • Overthetop:
  • Gen 1: Flat hole-less frame.
  • Gen 2: Insets cut into the inside of the frame for the forehead padding. Also has little holes cut into the back end of the frame.

  • Eyeshade:
  • Original: Original 1984 release
  • Re-release: Recast from original for the 2010 STPL collection and another as an Oki-ni exclusive.
