Oil Drum™ represents an entirely new design language, a unique geometry of aggressive linework that inspired originals like Fives® 3.0 and GasCan™. The digital CAD/CAM toolbox of Oakley art has rendered many organic forms in the past. This new design language was developed to achieve a harder-edged sculpture that underscores Oakley authenticity. From the increased geometry of the lens orbitals to the assertive angles of the linear earstems, Oil Drum™ was created to make a statement about the art of style and the art of technology.
