Welcome to the New o-review.com! - john
Welcome!
You may notice a few changes around here. We've spent the last couple of months working on tweaking the forum code and appearance, and the final result is faster, more streamlined, more professional, and altogether a more appropriate home for this great crew.
Hats off to Dann, who put it all together. Longshot provided hosting for the site, kingphilbert and a couple others helped us make final tweaks, and all I did was pester Dann about features and recommend some design changes.
Enjoy! As always, we're glad you're here.

New items. - Dann
Again thanks to Obsession for pointing this out. Oakley.com has updated it's website with many of the item's we've been seeing. The Hachet is officially out, the Thump have been added with an Amber/Gold iridium option (no picture though), and several older models are now on a limited quantities page. So you can pick up a pair of Scars, Mag Fours, Eye Jacket 3.0s, or Why1,2's if you missed them.
Fall 2004 Apparel and footwear is out. Highlights include many more dress shirts and a new Tall Assault Boot for women.
I've added the footwear to the reviews and I'm slowly adding the apparel.
There's also a Hardshell Backpack in the bags section too.

New Apparel - Dann
I found some interesting new apparel on a Japanese Oakley site, that I hope comes to this half of the world soon. There's a few bandanas, with floral camo patterns for the ladies, and what I can only call Logo Camo for the guys.
There's a new Bogey hat for all you golfers complete with Oakleyized golf tees, and also quite a few trucker hats. All can be found in the Apparel sections.
I've added a logout feature too, which will clear all traces of your login from the computer in case your on a public computer or need to share. Most traces were dropped when you closed your browser, but your User ID was kept to 'quick logon' later or post a review. The Sign Out button on the menu and members page will clear that.

Hatchet - Dann
Many thanks to Obsession for digging this new model up. The Hatchet is Oakley's newest model, and also part of their newest frame type O-luminum, an Aluminum alloy. Four models can be found on apairofshades.com, and a picture along with prices can be found in the glasses section.

He also posted an interesting variant to the Half Jacket called "Thump", but you'll have to head over to the forum via the members section to see what that is.

Forum up - Dann
The forum is now up for everyone to use. You must have an account in order to post.
In other site news, you can upload your picture to your account, and an Icon. I promise to have some more stock icons up, there's only a few stupid ones for now. You can upload your own though.
Accessories have been updated with some new offerings from Oakley. The new Ichiro Juliet is also online, and it looks pretty nice. Actually we've had a bootlegged UK image up, but Oakley finally released a high res version.
A new Leather Icon backpack has been released which looks very nice. It comes in Khaki and Black leather. A bit pricey at $225, but I imagine it would last a lifetime.
I added a picture addition to the movie reference section, so you can see examples of the Oakley products. I've only done images for Blade II so far. More to come.
