The Doctor is the authority I turn to when I have X-Metal queries. Many thanks Rick and glad you're back! Sound the bell school's in session!

Rick always managed to shed light on my metal queries. This Doctor is the foremost X-metal specialist. Thanks Rick! Don't know what went on but you can't keep a good man down.

It's authentic. My Ducati Crosshair came in yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to see the new all-red box! It's says 2004 at the back on the box anyways.

Schwarzer made Zalayeta cry and everyone in the world had to see it. I feel for the Uruguayans players.

Hey guys, did you know that John Travolta went into the Soceroos changing room and shook every hand. they made him sing "Youre the one that I one"!

Good one Todd!
Nov 5, 2005 10:30 PM
Guys, always curious about this.
Question:When your glasses are not protecting your eyes, how do you wear them?

Some I see perch them atop their heads.
Some ring them round their necks with lenses facing behind.
Some ring them in front.

Let's face it, Oakleys are too darn good to stow away in your bag at the mall.
Nov 5, 2005 10:03 PM
Gotta try it on really depends. the l/xl size fits fine on my icon bucket but makes me feel preschool on the icon baseball cap.
Nov 5, 2005 9:54 PM
Yeah Wil,just 3 now actually.

Sometime even when i wear my Romeos down the street here I get the feeling O uneducated think it's a foakley!
Just cause all other X metals have the studded flex coupler nose bridge!

However the O-illiterate (the layperson on the street) think it's Badass!
Nov 5, 2005 7:29 PM
Yo Wil, nice job on the lenses!
Problem is the O uneducated on the streets probably think it's fake!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the limited, out of production, X Metal XX Plasma/ Ice (XP005663) has finally touched down in Singapore. And it is mine!
Nov 5, 2005 9:25 AM
Am I the only one to think that aside from the X-Metal color and other mainstays, the electic blue/ ice combo is cool?
Nov 5, 2005 9:12 AM
Yeah..I own a pair of the 24k...i'd be over the moon if I found out there was real gold in there somewhere! Anyone got the skinny on this?
Oct 29, 2005 1:03 AM
Hey guys, is it just me or Oakely Version 2005 seems to conform to covention. Less radical in terms of design and more fashion conscious. Gone are the Plates and OTTs and the myriad of other lens colours in favour of sleek continental styles. Even Romeo 2.0 looks mainstream and subdued compared to its bolder 'in your face' muscled up predecessor. I like almost everything about Oakley but the new wave seems to be very contemporary not unlike other designer fashion brands. What do you guys think?
Oct 20, 2005 9:28 PM
Yo Thomas, thats's the one. Congrats! We are now proud new owners of classic romeos.
Let me know if it came with the coin. Cos it wasnt visible on the pic provided. And the serial number as well.

What is it about the romeo appeals to you?
Oct 20, 2005 10:09 AM
Guys, the serial number is 064688.
The number 88 is doubly auspicious to the Chinese.
Got it for US$383.5.
Passed up the buy it now new Gold one on ebay for US$235.
Now may the lottery roll my way!
Oct 20, 2005 12:09 AM
Ha! Had to settle for the X metal X with the red unobtainium.

Pic is of my Titanium/Gold Romeo and officially the last over the counter BNIB romeo in Singapore.
Oct 19, 2005 10:00 PM
Gentlemen, this came first.
Oct 18, 2005 10:09 AM
Yeah! I think we're done having dozens of the same black bag? Maybe oakley will take notice. Ive seen some gunmetal grey ones in the past. Cheers
Oct 18, 2005 10:06 AM
Yup! It's gonna compliment alot of guys with such tatoos...Yo eric any pics? How did you get to know about it? Youre getting us all excited here! love the fit! Cheers.
Oct 17, 2005 10:03 PM
Ever got shot an enquiring look by people on the street as if your oakleys which you paid good money for were fake? It's cos of products like these surfacing!
Oct 16, 2005 9:46 AM
X Metal XX 24k. I noticed that even the other oakley wearers on the streets could'nt help but take an extended look. Wonder how long before the 24k plating will fade?
