Acquired a xx pair of sunglasses and a xp pair from a customer who was the sixth Oakley employee in 2002?

I wear the xp's daily and love the optical quality. Once I frantically looked around for my xp's to find out I had them on.

Wife did not use the xx's ever and are unworn brand new. Probably sell them or trade for a similar condition xp's

Is there any difference looking through a recut oakley lense?

Original oakley sales tool used at displays had two red beams shining into the glasses lens from the front and the oakley salesman used to point out that both beams ended up in a single point.

He then had the prospective customer put their sunglasses in the same jig. Beams did not end up at the same spot ever.

Your brain has to overlap the misaligned sides. Eye fatigue. Headaches.

I hand select replacement Automotive windshields for the minimum distortion I can get.

More Perfect auto glass goes in the production cars. Less quality goes to the spare parts stock I have found

Wealth of knowledge here is appreciated.

I bought the replacement rubber parts on eBay for the nose piece. The oakley guy knows me and hopefully he will install them for me when needed.

Put on several pairs of other brand sun glasses in the last few days and the optical quality sucked compared to my x metals.

Glad these can be repaired and updated basically forever. Just need to stock up more on the components.

Are there any aftermarket lenses that equal the originals in optical quality?

Thanks for the expert answers. Does not raise the orbitals up. Hence xx.

Did not notice my xp's and the xx's are the same frame. Now I have a new spare set in the x metal finish I guess.

Any way to tighten the center area? The oakley interplanetary repair guy tightened them up a day ago a bit when I had the xp's lens changed. Is there rubber in there also? Where the rivets go?

Maybe do this differently. What dimensions differences are there between a early Juliet and an x metal xx?

I have a pair of serial numbered XP oakleys and a serial numbered pair of X metal xx oakleys that that appear to take the same lenses.

Where is the difference in the two glasses?

I have a pair of oakley sunglasses that came from an executive of oakley in 2002. The frames look like the 04-120 x metals and are serial numbered xx 027376.

My friend may have changed the side pieces to the xx hammer style before giving them to me. Centers could be Juliet's?

Side arm Finish matches exactly. carbon?

Anyone have the measurements of the lenses so I can check? I understand they are different. Is that true?

Any help would be appreciated.

This were never worn but in the car one lense was scratched slightly.
