Two Oakley stories.

First, I was going to Italy for a trip and decided I would have to get RayBans there since they are Italian frames. I searched all over and ended up buying a pair of Oakleys in Rome! Jupiter Squared that are blue with white sides. Even more ironic is that I live a few miles from Oakley headquarters!

Second, my dad had a pair of Oakley Why 8.2s. He passed away and I ended up with the glasses. So they had a lot of meaning to me. Sadly, while walking at the beach, I got hit by a wave that knocked them off and into the water. I could never find them again. I've been trying to find a replacement pair. But I can't find them anywhere. Suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
Jay

Hmm. So I just spent some time looking at the Tailback... then I found the Tailpin. I know, totally different from dad's pair. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to check those out in person (and then keep looking for a Why 8.2).

Thanks to you both. I'll keep looking. I have to say, I'm not completely wild about the Chrome Iridium lenses on the Jupiters I got. It just doesn't seem as crisp as the Why 8.2 or (gasp) my old RayBans. So I really need to find a replacement. I might look at the Nanowires because they look very similar to the Whys.
