My Revolver is #10, so I like your explanation, Oak, versus the possible alternative! Oddly enough, it was really just the 4th one sold in my size. #1 and #2 were only offered at a premium, 3-5 were sold, and he had to machine 6-10 when I placed my order. In the end, just happy to see a market for RDZ stuff and hope Matt continues to design and invent.

Still in awe that you had the chance to check out the Armadillo. Must be an amazing piece for sure. I presume it wasn't the CF version. Where did you have the chance to see all this, are you traveling and made it to one of the stores carrying DZN? Also jealous of you being able to check out the Turbine, that thing just looks pretty phenomenal as well.

The Turbine is awesome. Not really usable as a pendant because of its size, but a very cool sculpture.

Well, this is an interesting one. A guy in Utah machined his own Revolver ring (in aluminum instead of Ti). His words:

"I collaborated with Matt Tremblay of Rogue DZN and was given special permission to create my own version of his Revolver Ring. I found and was inspired by the Revolver on the internet close to a year ago and have gone through extensive processes with multiple different softwares in an attempt to better my CNC machining skills as well as 3D Solid design skills. Being a machinist and having access to the CNC machines necessary to create such a work of art, I was motivated to build instead of buy my own ring. Matt has been very helpful and encouraging of my work as I have spoken with him throughout the year."

Quite a good replication. I think I remember some email exchanges with that guy earlier in the year. He has certainly taken the project and ran with it. Considering I have no such skills, I am impressed with what he's been able to do. Looking over the pics, it also gives me even greater respect for the finished products that RDZN is able to provide.

Mush respect to both him and Matt. Not many people would let someone tinker with their own creation. So that's very cool of Matt. I also appreciate Trev's hard work to accomplish this. Nice work on both ends. I'd still love to get one of Matt's pieces someday.

TB1, I don't think I've seen Jim's rings. Does anyone have any images? I don't really have any clue but I think the odds are pretty good Matt was involved. Then again I have nothing to base that on other than their working relationship.

Dann posted it a while back:

The only time I've see it was during the Thump demo all those years ago. It reminds me of the longer animal rings in somewhat of the shape of medieval finger protectors like this one:

It does ring a bell now. Pretty cool. Although not as industrial as I had envisioned when reading the post.

Definitely pretty cool. $150-200 (w/out watch) seems almost reasonable for this thread! Looks like there is plenty of time to wait until it's release later this year. I am now officially feeling the pressure of everyone fighting for my valuable wrist real estate, what with a lot of Oakley watches, fitbits, Apple Watch, now this.
