For those who want to try a longshot at possibly having an in-person look at the C6, ask your OPD if they're expecting a visit from anyone from Foothills Ranch. If they are expecting someone soon, you might want to show up to see if the visitor brings a C6 with them.

One of my OPDs got a visit from a product manager last Thursday (don't remember his name, but he was apparently Irish and was in Calgary for the opening of the new Vault outlet) and he brought with him the Livestrong C6 and another yet-to-be-released O Matter model. It was a suprise to him, but it may be a tip for you to catch a look at the C6 in person before it moves on.

Hublot makes a bad a$$ watch that's for sure. I like the black diamond or whatever it is. Reminds me of the old Sapphire watch Tyson had made when he was on top of the boxing world.

Yeah, the Black Caviar Bang has black diamonds with a tourbillon movement. They definitely went all out on that one. Even glammed up press release pics of it don't do it justice.

Looks like the same ones. And FYI, these pics were not authorized, which is why I took them off the site for now in case you were wondering.

Too bad you had to take it off. Google yields many articles with the official C Six pic in it. Here's one with good commentary from non-Oakley fans:

Some of the reader comments in the Autoblog article are amusing.

so what is the purpose of the spine in the aluminum version? I am not really digging either. The shapes just don't mesh well in the transitions in my opinion. Some people are just straight ripping Oakley because they can. I really couldn't see spending even half on the carbon pair. They really don't do anything at all for me. Nice concept but wrong price tag and something that just doesn't make sense.

I tend to agree with what many have stated. While the concept of creating a pair of "Elite" Oakleys made from carbon fiber is certainly appealing, it is just too bad that statistically the people who will be obtaining these really won't care much about Oakley or owe any allegiance to Oakley at all. In fact, the overwhelming majority of those who finally lay hands on this piece will only care about the pricetag, and will probably know nothing about Oakley. I'd even dare to say that those same people will probably have no loyalty toward Oakley, nor will they mind slapping on a pair of Versace or any other "high-end" name brand pair of sunglasses for that matter. In the end, it will only to be to prove that they're able to drop $4K on a pair of sunglasses - not because they truly admire and/or respect the O. Those of us here who love and live for Oakley will probably never even get to see this pair. Sad.

And the design is decent, but really uninspiring when considering what "could" have been done. I'll pa$$ on this pair...

After that speech and based on what you said about the PB, I place 3:1 odds on you getting both. ;-)

So applying Terrorism's comments, I wouldn't be surprised to see some C Six just tossed on the dashboard of some fancy cars driving around town.

The real question that begs, then ... is do you break that window??? (or, more likely, simply steal them because they are likely sitting in a convertable)

You break the window or "Snatch and Run" as soon as the opportunity arises. Then, just watch ebay and wait for the box and packaging to show up. It will. HAHA. just saying

wesley white is Mr.Massengil who lies cheats and steals to profit. His so called 3d frogs are cut lenses, his blends are probably the same one being recycled through when they don't sell, and he is connected somewhere otherwise. Just another a$$ clown. Look him up on MySpace...doucher is there and man is he in love with himself...
