Thanks for the kind words gents. I'm proud to say I did it all on my own. I had a bit of help from a friend to finish off the intricate cuts for the floor tiles. The tiles are from a US company called Snap Lock. They are the Race Deck Free Flow tiles. Very easy DIY project. Cost me about $3.50/sq ft by the time I had them shipped up. The photos came out real nice. The world stopping spinning did help as I was holding the camera. You know where I can be found from now on. Just knock 3 times on the door.

Beautiful work on the garage. Time to move the Oakley towers into it to complete the setup.

Thought about it but the drastic changes in the temperature when the door opens scares me too much. A couple of TW's would look good along the back wall though!

Here is another latest purchase.....87, L98, convertible. shareing the spotlight with Lead Foot. And all the tags are O related..... Lead Foot = O-ANTIX, Purple Tahoe = O-HIJINX, and the Vette = O-XMETAL. Was gonna go with O-ELITE...but figured Id save that for the next other purchase.

well..... after lots of deliberating, we couldnt find an oakley watch that we both liked for me for our soon to be wedding, so i used my contacts from recent work within the formula 1 circles and we got lucky with this:

its a limited edition (100 worldwide sets) casio edifice wave ceptor sebastion vettel watch.
released in 2008 to mark the day sebastion vettel won his first race and became the youngest ever formula 1 race winner.

it comes with box, display set up, pin badge of his helmet and his signature on the dial and rear of the case.

kindly aquirred directly from red bull racing!
these watches are not available anymore and its a sepurb looking watch with tonnes of features, but it alows us to insert my other love and passion into our great day!

see what you think:

Glad you finally found a watch you like for yoour wedding.
Honestly, I think this is a much better choice for you than the Icon Small (given the latter was designed with ladies in mind).
Congrats.

Today I received my new shoes - the Reebok Pump Graphlite Rolland Berry design ltd. edition with branded box and collectible poster - so sweet
I had this shoe model already in the early 90s and I'm happy that they released that shoe 20 years later again

well, a long time ago when i was a college i cycled semi professionally until a nasty injury and complete knee replacement caused my cycling career to dissappear over night.

since 1997 when it happened ive never ridden a bike, but this week i took the plunge and purchased a road bike, with the scope the knee will hold up and will add some enjoyment and variety into my training.....plus it also gives me an excuse to get some new oakleys!

its a 2009 kona zing, full aluminium frame, carbon forks with a full ultegra groupset......over time, depending how into i get, ill upgrade the wheel to some deep carbon rims, and the groupset to dura ace...

Nice bike Paul. If upgrading, first do the Dura-Ace and then the rims :D
Since I have Dura-Ace one my bike, I won't go back. However Ultegra is pretty pro too (Y)

Carbon wheels look pretty awesome and are quite light, but they make some friggin' noise when riding.

thanks guys, ultegra is fine for what i want to do at the moment, but to fair other than the slightly smoother shifting dura ace provides, i probably wouldnt notice the difference anyway!

as for the wheels, noisey yeh, but handy going up and down the hills where i live!

have you got a pick of your bike jules-what do you ride?

well, last weekend, my new wife decided she wanted to treat herself to a brand new bmw 320d business edition, so i decided to let her do her thing and then follow suite......so in 2 weeks time in our garage will be sitting my bmw z4 2.5si m sport......its not brand new but 5 years old, but only has 40000 miles (60000km) as is in concourse condition!

ive just got to decide how i can discretely add some 'o' to it....

after christmas im going to get it superguarded, which prevents the paintwork from fading and the leather from staining and discolouring.........

being a watch collector, i like this watch tag!

well, i tried a change but i didnt get on with the bmw z4, so thats going back to the dealer and ive stuck with what i know and love and bought a honda s2000 gt.

2004 with 29000 miles on the clock and in immacualate condition and has the all important hardtop for winter....been a while since ive driven one of these and forgot how much fun they are-that vtec engine is awesome, plus this ones had a little bit of work done under the hood, racking it up to 322 bhp...
