yeh that and other memories from jay k were awesome, i was young, so was he and that car was just insane.......the 308 in magnum, so cool, my first memories of a ferrari, lovely in person, but i preferred the slightly more angular look of the 348.......but if i had to go porsche it would be a 993 (?) from the bad boys movie, last of the air cooled.....

I've made a whack of purchases for the new house and baby, but THIS is my favorite of them all...makes life very cozy having a heated garage.

that's what I need Rick...nice addition to any garage or house LOL..

as for the 993, yeah, that would be an awesome car. That Porsche was clean and fast, and nothing like an air cooled Porsche.

We'll in a Calgary winter an Audi deserves a good sleep as well!

and since it will be nice and warm in there you can paint the walls. (why is no one ever paints the garage in North America)

Easy there Outback. Most of us take pride in our garage... Sadly not all - but many. Mine is in a redesign right now...

I agree about the garage largely being ignored, at least up here in Canada. I don't get it, it's the one part of your house that everyone sees since the door is open quite often, yet people have it looking a frickin' mess. I am going to wait a bit to see that my floor settles well before putting the finishing touches on it. I'm going for the Euro Detailing Shop look. Should be sweet.

Agreed - I'm sure it'll make us all envious!!

DOC Standard: can't miss.

And yeah Mike - I think there are still quite a few of us out there that definitely don't disregard the design/decoration of the garage.

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood & here the standard is ceramic tiling on the floor or epoxy finish (that's me)...some neighbors have flat screen TVs cuz they spend so much time in there!! Madness!/awesome.

yeh agreed, my garage is a dumping ground, but it does need some cash spent on it.

i was going to do a conversion into a gym this year, but decided to put the gym in the house instead, but with a lick of paint, decent lighting, flooring and storage, it would transform it........but other priorities come first such as a wedding, then the garden, then a new car......so its a while off, but rick, a heater-thats a first for me-such a cool..hot..cool...idea :)

Now I'm feeling ashamed for not painting our garage. Of course, when it is just housing a Honda and Toyota - it's not going to attract much attention.

Pfff, it looks like I have bought a website :O
One with my other big hobby and where I am already moderator. About Radio-Controlled cars, and especially one make: Tamiya.

The guy wanted to stop with this website, and saw it as a time to move on and start with other things. As it is the only website dedicated to the make in The Netherlands and Belgium I can not see it stop anytime soon. Way too great forum to let down. Sometimes there are some troubles, it is not as smooth as this forum. But I think that can be fixed haha :P

The site is www.tamiyagekken.nl

not quite got it, but going to view this weekend with the scope of driving it away.....after almost 3 years its time to upgrade my car until after the weekend.

its a bmw 318 ci, with several tastful upgrades such as the rims, internal features like climate control, 6 speaker BOSE sound system etc.

the car is slightly older than the one i have, its a 2001, but its only got 60000 miles on the clock, which for a petrol bmw means its not even broken in yet.

if i decide to take it ill pop some more pics on.

Thank you! She was mine too and was very happy day that I bought her, however shes in Texas and I travel so she sits unloved other than the very rare times my father drives her (free mid-life crisis). But she is started every week and left run for about 30min- also has trickle charger on the battery.

She is for sale... asking $36,500. She is a 2008 (first year for lifetime powertrain warranty) 3LT 6spd stick w/ dual tops. Only 22xxx miles on her... If you are interested price is neg.

mr bigs, not yet, considering going for a viewing this weekend, but ive also seen a 330 ci closer to home with a slightly higher spec (it has the full leather rather than the cloth on the 318), so looking at viewing that also....

but im also considering going full hog and getting a mercedes sl500, but finding a manual is as rare as hens teeth and i wont go automatic.

ill keep you posted what i go for-hows the gt3 settling in?

Probably wasn't anyone important...

Gentlemen with the nice cars: you guys make me wish I had saved some Oakley money for a nice ride! I may have a decent Oakley collection, but a picture of my Toyota Corolla CE wouldn't "wow" anyone here!

Again, beautiful cars and thanks for sharing!
