Quentin Tarantino to direct an R-rated Star Trek movie? LOL. This will be interesting if it actually materializes:

Wow. That's a hard combo to imagine. I'd love to see it, but I'm not sure it will fall in line with the rest of the cannon. If it happens, I'll be watching it.

I'm not a fan of Robert Rodriguez, but pairing him with Battle Angel Alita seems to an inspired choice for the director's chair. Still, I would've like to see James Cameron direct it a lot more.

Well, the first trailer is finally out for Alita: Battle Angel. Meh:

‘Tis the season for trailers, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse:

Not sure if i’m into a Spidey animated film, but they’ve got super talented directors behind it.

Huge news! Disney buys 21st Century Fox for $52.4B (in stock). This means X-men and FF movies will eventually be developed by Marvel Studios:

Netflix is investing $8 billion on original movies:

One of the higher profile ones is Bright starring Will Smith and directed by David Ayer:

It got slaughtered by the critics, but I liked it. While it isn’t a masterpiece, it was enjoyable. I’d recommend it.

They need to come out with another Dredd movie with Karl Urban. Hands down the best Judge Dredd movie made. JMHO:)

Agreed, I thought it was a great movie. The marketing on it was horrible, which is why it did so bad at the box office. It only cost $50M to produce, so it was a shock it didn’t even recoup that.

I believe they are working on a TV or Netflix series in which Karl Urban will have a reacouring gest star roll.

While Black Panther is getting rave reactions as its social media embargo lifts, the Ant-man and the Wasp trailer is released. This is the movie i’m least excited for but the trailer makes me rethink my position. Great stuff:

I’m excited to see it! Paul Rudd is one of the last remaining funny comediac actors and the Wasp is hot;)

Venom teaser is live. They’re really holding off on showing what the Venom design actually looks like knowing how anticipated it is, but it is a teaser:

Feedback online is that it’s a pretty bad teaser and plenty of “meh”, but i’m still very interested.

Wasn't sure if they were a spin-off like ABC or Netflix is doing. Thought the days of one-off Comic movies were left in 2003.
