I just found out The Defenders will only be 8 episodes rather than the normal 13. That's usually a good thing since Marvel's shows tend to meander in the middle, but first reviews say the show moves very slow in the first 4 episodes:
Since we binge watch them, 8 hours vs 13 probably won't seem like much. Suppose as long as the last 4 ramp up the action once the crew is together, it should hopefully be exciting.
What's this Wolf Warrior movie? It's made $860m+ in China alone. Virtually unknown in North America and pretty much the entire world, but I'm interested what has made it such a blockbuster.
Probably not high on anyone else's list, but this was a win for me. Cheaper than the BluRay's on their own, and a lot less given the out of print status of the DVD's.
THOR: RAGNAROK is getting some amazing reviews, critics and general audiences alike. The visuals (Kirby-inspired) and the humour is suppose to be amazing. I'll probably watch it in the theatre once the hype dies down:
As expected, critics are gonna go off on Justice League. I thought they may give it a bit of a free pass on their rating like they did with Wonder Woman, but it doesn't look like that'll be the case:
Estimated $96M opening weekend for Justice League! The Monday actual will be within a few million, but what an abysmal start. It'll sink like a stone next week. Oh well. 4 out of 5 acclaimed comic book movies for 2017 is a great year though:
