I'm not a fan of Robert Rodriguez, but pairing him with Battle Angel Alita seems to an inspired choice for the director's chair. Still, I would've like to see James Cameron direct it a lot more.

Doomsday looks pretty cool.

I like it too, but there's a lot of online hate for design, comparing him to a LoTR troll and MCU's Abomination. One guy put a yellow band over the eyes to make him look like a TMNT (which was pretty funny). Still, I look forward to see how he evolves and becomes the Doomsday we all know from the Death of Superman story.

I liked the 1st trailer (which to me was a bit more dark) more than the 2nd trailer (which I think has somewhat cheesy moments). I'm not a big movie complainer though, or a big geeky complainer (his costume is off, the story line isn't the same as such and such comic, etc). I just enjoy them for what they are, ~$10 worth of entertainment for an evening.

So not Age of Apocalypse then. I suppose that's good since they couldn't do it justice.

I'm sure it'll have some AoA elements in it, but I agree, the story wouldn't have had the same impact since Apocalypse hasn't previously been introduced into the the X-men movie universe yet.

DoFP had the Egyptian preview. I wonder if anything from Ages of Apocalypse will be included.

I doubt there will be anything. That's a pretty niche storyline. I also don't know if Cable will be making an appearance in this one. I suspect we'll get our first glimpse of Tatum as Gambit, though.

Cool info about Xavier's chair:

Also, here's a fun little tidbit, Xavier's wheelchair is the same one Patrick Stewart used in Singer's original X-Men film: "It’s the original chair from the first movie – we bought it from a collector.

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/KingPatel/news/?a=127924

My memory is hazy about the chair, but I thought I remembered it being bought by a lawyer in one of those eBay prop auctions in August 2000. I also thought I remembered he wouldn't let be purchased back for X2 and 3, so the crew had to build another version. The story was told on one of those featurettes or commentaries from the X2 DVD, but I'm too lazy to find it and verify. Whatever the true story, it's cool to see it back and a nice piece of trivia.

That is cool. I wonder his reasoning about not wanting to sell it for the other films.

I had no interest in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage (or most Vin Diesel movies for that matter), but one featuring both Tony Jaa and Jet Li in the same movie would be too awesome to pass up. Conor McGregor is an interesting addition to the cast as well:

Holy crap. The previous Batman v Superman trailers were so-so, but they pulled out all the stops for the final one. Looks pretty damn good when they put the focus on the Trinity and the choreography (while leaving out Lex):
