Does anyone have any rubber Oakley bracelets for sale? I have no idea how to get one. Thanks to all!

Has anyone ordered the Fingerprint Asian Fit M2's. On the left it shows the altered lens shape, and in the interest of completeness, I want to have one of those. The Fingerprint ones don't show it however so I'm wondering if it's just a stock photo issue.

Haven't purchased a Fingerprint one, but I did notice that all of the non-polarized AF M2 stock photos reverted to the non-AF lens shape (they were correct at one point in time). I'm thinking it is only a stock photo issue.

6pm.com seems to have the correct photos (but doesn't specify AF, however there are separate listings). Sold out though which is a bummer since they were $20 cheaper.

How do Slivers compare size wise to Jupiter Squared? If any one has both could you take some pictures of them side by side from front on please? - hounsthe2nd

A bit shamed that I'm not getting the img code off Flickr with my iPad, but I have a couple comp pics on my photo stream:

Toxic - XYZ Optic

They were given away earlier this year by an Oakley employee, that no longer works for the company. Haven't seen any employees since then giving them away. Sorry.

I searched for this topic "Painted Icons" and found a thread (from '06) that didn't answer the question "can I paint my icons". Has anyone had any success doing this?
Failing that, anyone have any medium icons (for Straight Jacket, New) in red, chrome, or silver they'd be willing to ransom?

Yes, you can paint the icons. I think guys like Dr. Chop do it quite a bit.

Thanx Oak!

I'm consumed by stoopid questions; have been since pig-tails inna ink-well...

Does anybody know the base curve of the E Wire (specifically the 2.0 version)?

Were the Steel/Dark Grey Crankcase, Antix, Eyepatch 2, and Holbrook part of a collection or just a one off color combo released months apart? I really want the EP2 and Antix, but ebay is coming up short...

Before its release, some were calling it the "Steel" collection, some were calling it the "Lightning Green" collection, but ultimately there wasn't anything that specified it was part of a grouping...no special box, no special label, no special microbag, not special marketing that I can remember.

Thanks, Oak. Hopefully I'll get lucky and catch a deal/trade.

Thanx again Oak!
Next query...
Are the lens series "00" (zero zero)or "OO" ( Oh Oh), and are the Jordan wires similarly designated?
My mind wanders Oakleywise...

It's OO (letters, not numbers) to match Oakley's stock symbol. Same for the Jordan wires which also had a lens with OO, but not related to the G40 base editions that are currently out.

What is the reason behind some radarlock lenses having "oakley" etch at the top nosebridge area while some do not?

I've always thought all the radar lock lenses come with the etching

Were M frames ever released without the "made in USA" on the right temlpe? I just received a pair of metallic blue and they look very authentic down to the metal O. fit and finish is very good and it has genuine unobtanium. Can any one ring in on this.

Most Oakley frames no longer feature "Made in U.S.A." as recently as 2013. This is due to in large part to a change in the manufacturing criteria of what constitutes made in USA. The new manufacturing standard, I believe, is now at 90% where as prior to 2013 was 70%. Coupled with recent changes to material resourcing and manufacturing locations, Oakley does not meet this new standard. Rather than play with what could take its place, Oakley simply removed the etching from their frames. It does not help that Oakley as of late seems to be moving away from rather than toward meeting this new criteria.

With the exception of APEL compliant Standard Issue models, the only pieces I am aware of that are still 100% made in USA are the lenses. Unfortunately, the familiar Bark Two branding has otherwise been removed accross the board and is likely not coming back. It may still show up on a select few sunglass made as late as 2014, but that would just be the last few pairs working through stock.

Thanks for the info, I kinda thought the metallic blue was a little older, they're cool anyway and a nice addition to the collection.

They still have it on the SI models, which may explain why we have some dedicated SI frames now.
