Has anyone ever seen the Oakley Beach Ball? Have one at my desk today.

Haven't, but there's a lot of randomly branded Oakley promo material. I have one of those puffy blow up hands you see at sporting events.

Forget the beach ball... I still love that Cash Express train. That should have been the holiday item this year. Can you imagine a pewter version of that running around under the Christmas tree?

That is a very cool beach ball. Congrats on owning it! I don't remember if I've seen that version before, but they've put out many different versions of the ball including the one below:

I was hoping for the tank, but the train would've been very cool!

I have an Oakley license plate I won at an Oakley event at VUTT. I believe the local rep had them produced for a few customers, and I haven't seen another one.

Some of the automated machines. The close ones spit out o-matter frames on runners. I think I remember hearing something like 5 minutes from beads (raw materials) to a finished product. Took these pics on my last stop by the employee store.

wow... are the lenses also made in house still?

Are they permanently shutting down the employee store as well?

I took a tour in June of 2015 and they were still making lenses there was able to watch them being made. Also was able to see some frames being dipped for example camo ,carbon fiber etc..I was also invited to shop in the employee store.

Actually when you go in the employee store you have to leave your shades at the front desk. Of course I was wearing my C SIX and really did not want to leave them with a stranger.. but did get them back upon leaving the store.

@0:40 specifically - Dann

It was a proud moment for me seeing the Medusa from my collection being used at the event. Oakley SA approached me asking if they could borrow it for something they had planned for the stage 5 leg of the Epic.

It got a very good cleaning after it was returned ;)

Wow, thanks for the additional info. Not sure why I missed the video the first time around, as I'm subscribed to the channel, but very cool that we know the origin. I don't think it's the first time Oakley has wanted to display the Medusa, but didn't have one of their own on hand.
