Does anyone know if the Mainlink is larger than the Chainlink? It almost looks to be Jupiter Squared sized. I won't be able to make it out to an O store any time soon to see for my self. ;) - rsuarez1982
Looks like the new stuff just dropped. Thinlink, Mainlink, Stringer, Carbon Shift, and the Machinist collection are all there. That Carbon Shift looks pretty badass:

Ordered one up and hope the red arrives - fingers crossed. - YellowA4
Mines arrived today... still the yellow one even though the color way suffix on the box says 22n. I even ordered on the ohkne to tell the rep to make sure it is the RED one. Tsk tsk - HED4JC
I also want to check something with you folks, have the prices seen any variations recently? The Canadian prices have fluctuated a little this week, variations across the board apparently, have to check when I get into work this weekend to see what has changed and what hasn't, but apparently pretty widespread price variations according to coworkers. - astarias
astarias, I haven't noticed anything but wouldn't be surprised if the Canadian prices fluctuated a bit. CAD$ was dropping like a stone for a bit, so I expect companies to mitigate the exchange risk with some adjustments. I just hope the SF16-C doesn't increase from its $2,500 CAD retail price.

Almost every release cycle, I see some changes from the prices listed in the documents, to the actual retail. Seems like they often make a last minute adjustment before it becomes a pain to change everything across all the stores. - Dann
Carbon shift is cool, but compared to the SF16 it just doesn't hold its own.
I have yet to get my hands on a stringer also! Anyone knows how it compares to a latch and a breadbox?

Any changes down south?
Cheers! - astarias

I got the stringer today. Suprisingly, it fits more like a Frogskin then anything else. Lenses are smaller then the Latch. Nothing at all like a breadbox. - krhagen81

There was a lot of price changes that I noticed it in US Oakley stores last week, should be reflected at oakley.com soon I would think. Looks like a lot of the newer SKUs were affected. Looks like there is now only a $30 difference in going from Non Polarized to Polarized, and only a $10 difference in choosing Prizm. - Defenderoftheo
the good part of this collection is the etched Air Calvary on the lens, while i was TDY to Ft Hood i was able to see the real deal in person - pricedollaz

Do they all have the etching? From the pictures, I only see it on the Frogskins. Is it on the other lens on the other ones? - Batman1939
If they hit the Sale section on oakley.com, I can help forward them to you. - Dann
Well, there goes the Texas exclusivity:( - mlmguitar50
