I didn’t even realize they were making fake helmets. Wow! And some of the lens etchings look spot on and perfectly located as well.

So far, only ARO5 has been faked.

Luckily, despite all the efforts they put in reproducing perfectly the eyewear pieces and even stickers on the lenses, they continue to provide that extra microfiber clothe with triangle borders and add a label on the soft vaults.

Fake helmets sounds particularly scary :/

Those Mars are damn scary. Though the earstems aren’t quite correct and they probably can’t manufacture true X-metal with the same properties, the mother fakers are coming very close. The suede leather work is particularly impressive even if not 100% accurate.

Only a matter of time before newer collectors buy these things and then ignorantly sell it as real to other newer collectors. And so the cycle goes where collectors have fakes in their collection without knowing it. We’ve seen it already, and it’s only gonna continue unfortunately.

It's not x-metal, it's alloy, it's very heavy.

Yes, that is what I meant. The fakers will not be able to manufacture the type of titanium to replicate X-metal for the price they want to sell their replicas for. They have to use different materials.

X-metal is an alloy as well. Most consumer-grade Ti are alloys.

The most terrible ones are Badman and Madman,If it weren't for the experts, it would be impossible to identify it at all。
