Monday, April 9, 2018 — Oakley has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design on a limited edition Frogskins Lite collection. The Frogskins Lite, influenced by sport and pop-culture, is the latest evolution of Oakley’s most iconic lifestyle sunglass, the Frogskins.

As part of the collection, fragment design has updated the Frogskins Lite, a classic semi-rimless frame design, with the brand’s fragment design imprint and design details. Available in two colorways, Polished Black and Matte Black, the collection features the fragment design logo on the lens and left stem and product number on the right stem. The eyewear comes with a clear microbag that features the fragment design logo.

The Oakley x fragment design Frogskins Lite collection will be available starting April 28.

Yep, they did. Ha. Although I will admit I'm curious about the included "clear" microbag.

Probably a mis translation of the microclear term that's often used.

Ummmmm, yeah - oops, good observation. But I had hope it was something that would make this release worth, well, releasing.

In Japan it is common sense that this Fujiwara model is always resale at high prices on the web. Many people who do not love oakley for resale purpose make a queue from morning. That's why I always do not buy it.

For most of models sold exclusively in Japan, many purchasers for resale are making queues from morning

I am not interested in models sold exclusively in Japan

Now, dealings of fake or bad products and resale are very serious problems in Yahoo auction and Mercari japan web . Japanese oakley does not do anything. It is the worst compared to eBay

I’m very glad I have little interest in collector brands like Supreme, Kith, Fragment Design, Staple and all that ilk. I have as little interest these days in Frogskins, Holbrook, Latch and their various variations as well. Saves me a lot of time, money and headache of dealing with possible fakes.
