So, I had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. Talk about fun. Spent most of the day asleep, woke up in pain and bloody. Doing better today. Any tips tricks to getting through this would help. Thanks in advance.
Had it done a while back. Worst part was just getting people to leave me alone afterwards. I don't remember it being a long recovery, as I recall eating chili the day after. Wasn't the best idea, but it happened.
Lol. Chili the day after, not such a good idea. I've had some soup and some scrambled eggs, and yogurt today. About to spoon feed myself a chocolate shake since I cant use a straw.
Ouch. I feel your pain. If it makes you feel better, I had mine extracted a few years ago and it was pretty bad as well. The top wisdom teeth took a total of about 5 minutes, the bottom two took about 2.5 hours; my teeth as so well anchored in general and the bottom wisdom teeth were in such an awkward position that the dentist couldn't rip it out no matter how much leverage or strength he applied (and he really did apply all he had for a long time). Ultimately they had to chip the teeth out piece-by-piece. Getting the root pieces out was a pain.
Got all four removed when I was in high school.
Well, I woke up with blood all over the hospital "shirt" and with cracked lips.
Then a few days after, it was fine.
