Oakley Prizm Lenses
The much rumored Prizm lenses are starting to appear. Oakley has released a page dedicate to the technology. It's mainly a shooting lens at this point, similar to the G26 line, but not as harsh.

Currently there are two options: TR22 and TR45, and they appear on three models, the SI M Frame 3.0, Radar Range, and Flak Jacket XLJ. These are only for SI accounts at the moment.

Fellow Co-pilot got on the case, and found that TR = Target Red. The numbers are transmission rates as we assumed.

Kinda Looks like the G26 (but without the iridium) but definitely less harsh (less of the Violet filter)

I was looking at the radarlock options on the site.

And just looking at the pictures did I get the colors right?

Prizm - Current equivalent color
Baseball Infield - Looks like a Fire Iridium Variant
Baseball Outfield - Fire Iridium again?
Golf - VR28
Road - Positive Red Iridium
Trail - Persimmon

Golf *should* be close to G30, as it's slated to replace it. Road is definitely a tweaked OO Red/+Red, and Prizm Daily should be close to OO Grey Polarized.

Daily is closer to OO black, just not as mirrored

The online renderings don't really show what they look like. You have to see them in person. That said Prizm isn't about how the lens looks, its about how you see through them. Its not about ascetics its about function.

I can speak on behalf of the Prizm Infield Baseball, makes a difference you can pick up the smallest details in the texture of the grass/dirt! Can't wait to use them in a game situation!

Nice to heard that Prizm is holding up to real world use. I forsee the lenses being used a lot more in the future.

I have TR45 and TR22. I have used them occasionally for daily use and they are great. Prizm technology really brings out the details!

Have you had a chance to compare infield vs outfield? Curious what the major differences are from people literally from the field haha.

Just occurred to me today, the world really needs a Deep H2O Prizm Tailend. That would be a glorious lens and frame combination.

Any idea what Prizm Maritime is - Dann

Im guessing something to do with water? Maybe deep sea fishing specific? Very curious Dann.

It's on the SI site. Looks like an Emerald or Jade Iridium, so it's not the Angling one.

Maybe just a darker based Shallow H2O prizim? Its iridium coating is basically jade.

Same thing as Deep H2O Prizm but Jade Iridium as opposed to Blue iridium.

Not sure on that, the base looks much closer to Shallow than Deep H20.The iridium on my shallows is a purer green than jade, without the purple elements of the latter, but it is a custom cut so possible that those were removed with the cut.
