Hello all. Lately, well for the last few years, been keeping an eye out on this site
Oakley Shoes, Brazil style

Now you will notice some past shoes like Roadtrip, Westcliff and Buzzer. But if you look at the shoes more closely, there is a few that just look the same. Also the soles are the same. To me its like Oakley has lost the touch of designing there own unique footwear range.

Also in the past they had the other lifestyle shoes in there own colors, some better than what i could get!.

Oh here is the a shot of my Westcliff and Roadtrip shoes. I'm not sure if anyone notices or bothers with the shoes anymore.

I wear a few of Oakley's shoes, but not exclusively.
I find Skechers very comfortable.
Since the ShoeOnes and the Teeth, can't see any radical stuff from Oakley.
I got a pair of Oakley hiking boots that've pretty comfortable, that I wear for the rare snowy or icy days here around Dallas.
Also got a pair of the Chip Foose flats that I put on occasionally.
Oakley sandals are ok, and I got two as well.

Since my first pair which are Twitch, I've always exclusively worn Oakley shoes, cause they aren't the normal footwear people wear or know about. But lately, the Oakley shoes have somewhat looking bland, samey etc and making shop else where.

Its like what's currently on the Oakley USA site, Static lifestyle shoe. Its not far similar to Buzzer.

I do wear Oakley shoes exclusively but then again, I'm only on my fifth pair since starting the site almost a decade ago. I tend to hit the vaults and see what they have. There was a time they had SI Boots/shoes for $75 so I picked up a few, but other times it's run of the mill stuff. I stick with it since they're usually cheap enough and can roll in the brand loyalty, but I do agree that aside from the Military/Industrial line, there isn't much wow factor. I do stay far away from the skate inspired shoes since those flat heels just don't work around these parts. Snow and mud create a dangerous situation for anyone without treads.

I did see a pair of shoes that look somewhat like these that had the old skull on the bottom of them in a 2 layer rubber, it looked pretty cool but I still didnt get them.

I have a fairly robust selection of oakley shoes, and share a bit of a mixed bag of feelings. I think their sandals are pretty top notch, and continually look to make sure I have a decent pair at all times (for home, and during summers. I generally recommend their sandals any time it may come up.

As for the shoes, I enjoy a number of them, but don't feel they are universally superior to Nike or other shoes. I think there are some better shoe brands out there as far as comfort. But brand loyalty keeps me in them for the most part. (Though a slight secret love for Nike Foamposite keeps one pair of those handy.)

I will agree the overall offerings have turned pretty lame over the years. Outside of the military/boots lines, we really havent seen much to get excited about since silk, flesh, o-shoes.

I guess Dann being from the NE USA has more occasion to wear boots than us Texans. My hiking ones are some version of the Nail I think, and I also picked up a pair of black SI high-cut boots from some trade several years back, but simply too hot to wear and takes a while to lace up. The ShoeOnes are nice and light, but the soles provide minimal traction. Oakley might've had some running shoes out some time in the past, but I don't see them around much. Brooks or Asics for me in terms of running shoes.

The Casing is great if you hate lacing up boots (which I do, I treat ever shoe like a slip on even if it doesn't really allow it). Instead of eyelets, most of the upper section was smaller AP rings, so it just tightens the whole thing in one pull.

Don't think Oakley has had running shoes out. Be nice if they did.

Best pair of Oakley shoes i have ever had, except the Shoeone's are Spline, the skate like shoe. Wore them non stop for 6 or so years. Only let down was the internal lining. Those pair took a pounding. I was lucky to get another pair in a different colour a few years ago.
Also up there is the Flak Low SQR shoe.

Me thinks i should get my shoe pics up here one day, its pretty big.

I've been a big fan of Oakley shoes but you guys are right. It seems that many or most of the new offerings are increasingly bland. I do have a pair of steel traps I wear two to three times a week. Also, the teeth 2 came up on the vault recently and I got two pairs of those and they get compliments and are very comfortable. I use the golf shoes as well, they go well with my oakley staff golf bag and they're pretty good, better than the last pair of nike golf shoes I bought.

Awesome to see! Thanks for taking the time to haul them all around and set up for sharing.

Here is a pic from 4.5 years back for the co-pilot event submission, looks like I was at about 27 pairs back then. Funny to look at them now, reminding me of some pairs I have somewhere in a closet:

Habenero's are awesome. Pretty sure I have close to at least 50 pair and pretty much wear them exclusively unless I have to go to a business meeting or funeral.

I have every color of the original SI's and they wear like iron but squeak like a bitch when wet in the Wal-Mart. My Daily wear is the paintball worn pair we all got from "THE TRIP".

This pic was a couple years ago. Pretty sure I have at least doubled the collection since then. I'll try to round them up all sometime soon for a new group photo.
