Cool. What colour is it? I'm assuming it's matte stealth but can't tell for sure.

It works more than well. I like this stuff way better than paint! the process certainly sucks (all in the prep), but it can be a pretty killer option if I can get into a blast cabinet reasonably

I really wanted it to be done in time for RED...Especially because the crown, bolts, and face will all be red. Jim would have dug it I am sure

I was thinking the same thing. Red accents on black, is always a winner.

very much so. there are still a couple pieces to finish off, like the screws for the back plate. I forgot those, and then the bolts for the links and the crown, but that I need to paint tomorrow

I'm sitting here think about how I used to get stoked to match an M-Frame lens color with a frame. This is worlds away from that! Bravo.

I did consider those, but the chrono buttons have tiny clips retaining them to the springs, and losing them would render it useless, so not wanting to go that route, plus I like them blacked out so the crown is the focal point up there. As for the clasp release, I also thought of that, but the owner wanted it left alone and since paint is more prone to chips and wear and tear that Cerakote is strong against, it was a no brainer. I would actually use a Cerakote color for them, but he was specific to make sure the color of the accents was the same as the face, and I had to blend that color.

I have not been able to acquire 1 single bracelet yet. It is rather disappointing to be honest. The watch should be complete next week sometime, so I can show her off as a whole.

I think the days of dreaming about something are gone, and making those dreams a reality are upon us. Technology is allowing us to do cool things, and determination are as well. When I was approached (and the owner is an employee, not from HQ, but still), I was asked "Do You Think" and that is sometimes all it takes. After talking with Jim and listening to his stories at the RED event, it made me think "why do I give a sh!t what the guys at HQ think of what I do, or anyone else for that matter?" I am doing something for the people that doesn't degrade the brand, it only helps sell more items just so people can send them to me, or other guys doing similar things with them. When they don't make it and someone wants it, there has to be a way to achieve getting that item or making it the way you want it, much like that of a custom Hot Rod or Show Car. That man took something and improved it, and turned that into a multi billion dollar corporation we all covet. Am I that much of a visionary, or "Madman"...No, but I am willing to try for someone who wants it done. If they don't recognize the value in this niche, shame on them. The lens guys are hammering out junk by the truckloads, and Oakley just keeps disco'ing stuff. Shame on them...

damn, thats a bad sign if even you cant get one. I heard from someone in the UK he got lucky when he sent his TT in and asked for a new strap and they changed it but then others who have said it was sent back saying sorry we dont offer this service.

cant wait to see the finished watch!

I have said that also for years. Diamonds are cool, but rubies, emeralds, and sapphires would be wicked!! Everyone does a diamond watch, few do the colored gems

I literally have been asking since it was released. No joke. So that has been roughly 7 years since I got mine in 2006 I believe it was, or end of '05. Rubber straps are $125 I think, unless they jacked those up, and I was told that the Ti Bracelet was $450 or $485, but have never been able to buy one...
