I guess SS did have the 1:1 Iron Patriot out on display:

Looks good from the shoulders up. I don't like how the chest piece looks. It juts out and makes it look like he's got breasts.

Holy crap. Infinity Creative Designs out of the Philippines has crafted an unlicensed 1:1 bust of Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. Phenomenal work:

$600 for the Apocalypse statue! A lot more than I thought it'd go for but also a lot bigger as well at over 2.5 feet:

That's an awesome size. Might be worth the money.

This looks great, we can also choose to make our own statue, not too large, can carry. You can see the statue http://www.toyswill.com/polymer-clay-dolls-customized-diy-gifth8cm-p-520.html on my last week of a customized, we can immediately get the estimate.

Thanks to Dan for the heads up. Yet another life size bust from Sideshow, this time the Mark 42. Looks very cool. Time to clear some space for another one:

Sector 9 is at it again with their awesome life-size statues, only this time it's priced at a much more reasonable $3,500-$3,700 rather than the crazy $7k + Beast Kingdom wanted for their Iron Man 3 stuff.

With that sculpture, it can be part of your house.

That's actually a brilliant idea! I can picture how it can be done with the Spidey one.

I would love the Spidey one. Since it can be bought without the base, I can mount it on a closet door (though I'll probably need to replace it with a heavier door). Unfortunately, I doubt I'll get to it before it's sold out. Got the Iron Man Mark 7 1:1 bust coming in June and getting the Mark 42 1:1 bust in the fourth quarter.

Oak, why don't you just mount Spidey on a wall? I can't wait for the Mark 42 1:1 to arrive! Should be awesome! Are you passing on the Iron Patriot?

I'm pretty much out of wall space I can dedicate to statues. I need to reserve some space for future comic book art expansion.

Yep, passing on the Iron Patriot. I think it's a cool statue, but I'm not so impressed with it such that I'd want to own it.

I hear ya. Even though I still haven't seen either the War Machine 1:1 bust or the Iron Patriot 1:1 bust in person yet - I still like the WM better.

I tell myself the same thing every time my wife reiterates that my geeky collectibles must be localized to only 2/3s of the basement and the small guest bedroom. LOL.
